Expand brackets of (m + 1)(n + 1)

(m + 1)(n + 1)

=mn+m+n+1

Since m and n be the two roots of the equation x^2 − 15x + 28 = 0, the following equations are established by using Vieta's formula

m+n = 15 and mn=28

Therefore,

(m + 1)(n + 1)

= 15+28+1

=44
