  1. For an odd function, f(-x)=f(x)

    However, \cos(-x+\dfrac{\pi}{3})\ne-\cos(x+\dfrac{\pi}{3})

    Similarly, \cos(-x+\dfrac{\pi}{3})\ne\cos(x+\dfrac{\pi}{3})

    Therefore, f(x) is a neither even nor odd function. C is the choice.
